Anyone driven one owned one?
Prices are ludo can get a nearly new one for £11k. Ok so it's wrong wheel drive and looks like a taxi, but I seem to remember reviews saying drove well. Pretty large cars which would mean I could give the Jeep to my Dad.
Thoughts?

Really? Where you read that? I seem to remember Car saying it was pretty good but don't buy one because it will loose £20k in the first year

Well fuck me Barnshaw believes Clarksons review of a Vectra.
Read Top Gears magazine review, dont listen to that cunt Clarkson he is clueless and has agendas.
The later spec ones with more power and revised suspension are the ones to go for.

It'll be fine for normal driving round the town and the odd spirited drive, it probably would understeer when doing 80 in to a corner

get the 280bhp model. and the good thing with the veccy vxr is it looks good in any colour! they do get slated for handeling but who cares what it cant keep up with in corners it will keep up with on straight lines

Id obviously rather the BMW Warren, but Im lusting after something new with no miles and a balance of warranty on it. Cant get that on the BM!
If Evo approved then I am sure it will be good. I would only be looking at the Revised/Facelift ones tbh.
Hmmmmm

I'd always trust Evo before I trusted Top Gear. JC's reviews anyway

Total vauxhall did some reviews a while ago with some coppers and there vxr's and the coppers loved them.
And about the handling, if you go into a corner in a car with near on 300 bhp at the front wheels and plant your foot you gona understeer like mad unless you've got a diff and some nice tyres.
Apparently a whiteline on the rear sorts the understeer out according to the owners club, and you wouldnt go wrong with a diff
Corsa 1.6 sport - 1
1.7 puma engined fiesta - 0
Keeping corsa's on the redline since 2008

I like them, good cars, handling is suppose to be abit boatish but I reckon if it was lowered right it would be spot on.
