Right, i bought a set of 4 cesaros off ebay which didnt seem too curbed/scuffed but when they came today it seems they are a bit more than i thought! Pictures:
This all around on one wheel
Now, do i:
Refurb them at college which will probably take about 3-4 weeks (which is pvs deadline) amd buy paint for them
or
Send them off to be refurbed and powdercoated which will cost loads but worth it i guess
or
Put them back on ebay and look for a set that is already done but pay a little bit more?

Also didnt get a centre cap key and cant get them off! do i need a centre cap special key?

Long nose pliers for the centre caps mate.
Powdercoaters round here is £150 - £200 for a refurb amd powdercoat.

£100-£150 round here for powder coating defiantly worth it imo

The one in the last 2 pics looks terrible even powder coating that one would not hide the chunks out the lip.
Id be looking for a spare cesaro and use the one thats kerbed to bits as a spare.

refurb and powdercoat 
place not too far from me does it for around 150 to 200 as archie said, best way as they'll shot blast them back to bare metal, refurb all the curbs then powdercoat and put tyres back so if they scratch em putting tyres on its not your fault lol

Centre cap can be removed with long nose pliers.
You can probably refurb those with sandpaper and rattle cans for about 30quid.They don't look that bad tbh so wouldn't take long.A day or 2 at most.
Have you got other tyres for them??

Get it refurbed and powdercoated as said. Cost me about £55/wheel to get all 4 done last year, but they're 16" so would be a little bit more. That is refurb and paint though, don't know if powdercoat would be any cheaper.

im not rattle canning them! And yes im taking the newish 195/45/15's off my cav slabs

I did my old ones with rattle cans and they got stone chips to the primer! Doesnt give a thick enough coat and cant polish them up! Also heat from the brakes will eventually make the paint go rubbish probably!

Powdercoatings a lot tougher than paint
Someones done a proper job of curbing them chris  Im sure they will be able to get them as good as new for you though

Hmmm its done properly on that wheel isnt it Which is whats putting me right off doing them myself! Just have to find a good place that does it for a FAIR price!

Prep and paint/laquer them well and they will be pretty durable.
Ive painted umpteen sets of wheels and kerbed them and not once have i chipped the paint off them.
Nor have they lost theyr shine due to the brakes or whatever.
Its worth considering if your low on cash or worried about the costs of powder coating.
Good rub down and then some high build primer will see them back to good.
My current wheels were in a state that most folk would think were only fit for the scrappies.Spent a few days(few hours at a time) and got them back up to a pretty good standard.

Exactly what i did on my slabs but the paint wasnt as good and i ended up spending about £30 on paint but i got lacquer and primer free so that was alright! i have the money but i dont want to spend loads but i dont want a bunch of tards doing it!
