Been thinkin of selling the golf lately and trying something else and the Audi kinda sticks out. Martin on here had a very nice S-line model slammed with bentley alloys and it looked superb. I think it's the B7 model

I'm thinkin either the 2ltr tdi or the petrol model. It's got to be the saloon model.

Anyone had a go of one or have any knowledge on what there like?

I'd keep the R32!

Or do you want proper 4wd?

I like the A4 DTM Edition, other than that it would have to be an S4 or RS4.

S-lines in the shape above are quite nice. Considered one myself since putting the BM up for sale as mum wants a new car and loves Audi's to bits.

He did mate. I just fancy something else lol.

Paying £460 this month for tax is a bit of a killer plus the price of fuel ain't going down anytime soon lol.

I stay out the sticks a bit so something a bit more mpg friendly would be nice but still quick enough.

They did an S-line special edition too but the DTM one looks better.

It's got 220bhp standard (due to map) but won't remap anymore than a normal 2.0T A4

I see a theme here of it being regarded as an old mans car

It'll be beautifully put together, a bit uninspiring but safe to drive and as reliable as any other German saloon.

Try and steer clear of 05 2.0tdi. There is a major design flaw with the chain driven oil pump that causes it to fail, taking the engine with it.

Saw you in that this morning in Waterlooville Chaz!

Back on subject, Dad had a 57 plate from new A4 2.0 170 PS TDi S Line Special Edition - that had a defective clutch which was replaced under warranty within the first month, was spot on for the 3 years he owned it. He has since bought a A4 Allroad which is also spot on. Very well built cars

Was in the new van Chaz!

I'd have an A4 as I like the styling etc, just they're too big for what I need / want a car for!

Only thing I don't like now is that you can buy a Seat Exeo that looks just like them Makes it feel a bit 'cheap' now
