Anyone ever use it or more to the point ever turn it off?

Think I've turned mine off about three times in all the time I've had my car. Turned it off again today to use my launch control to find that launch control has been disabled on my car

Just interested to see if anyone else uses TC cos I feel like a fanny for never turning it off

Hate it on the Mini first thing I do when I get in is turn it off, used to use it a lot on the VXR until I got the LSD as it was very good.

I like the TC in the 350. It lets you twitch the back out on corners then brings it straight back. Very predictable and makes you look cool

Oh and turning it off makes things go the wrong way round and smokey.

Z3 had no t/c = sideways @ 45mph still accelerating in pissing rain on a motorway sliproad
M3 with t/c = safe driving flat out

It's handy to have, would like the option to sworn on/off tho

Anyone know how to turn it off on the Astra coupe or do you need to wire one of those switches in somewhere?

There's a fuse you can pull which turns it off, knocks off your abs as well though

Mine is the opposite, you can only use launch control when traction is off. Well thats the theory anyway, I wouldnt know cos mines been disabled........a curse but probably a blessing too.

I turn mine off as soon as all the ignition lights go off, it's habit now. Sometimes keep it on in the wet though

The M3 was the only car that I was too scared of turning traction control off. Slightly too much throttle and the back slides out in the wet.
Every other car, I drive with it off because it feels like I'm not in control when its on.

Evo doesn't have TC which is alllllll good.

Stu, with 500bhp on tap, I wouldn't call you a pussy for keeping it on

Mine's never worked since I bought the car in Aug last year... although a don't think a Vectra B SRI 140 really needs TC.

Used to have it off a lot in the M3 so I could engage S6 mode.

Dont bother in the Focus it pulls enough with it on!

My old 140 used to be useless at pulling off in a hurry with the TC on, turned it off most of the time
