can the DVLA take your plate off ya if our caught messing around with it e.g spacing, changing characters etc.
looking to get G4 VNH (G4VN H) and not worried about the pigs getting funny with me too much....its just that i dont want to have the plate taken off me!!!!! 
is this true and wat is the odds of this happening

i dont think they would go through the trouble of having to transfer another plate to you. remember, when you buy a plate there is a transfer fee involved, and i dont think that they would go to all the hassle without being payed

yeah they can take it off ya if the cop that pulls u over is a right w a n k e r. or they will give ya a £30 fine

When you buy the plate, you enter a contract. They have a clause with states that if you mis-represent your plate, they have the power to take it off you and give you a similar year'd plate to your car. and you wont get your money back.

Hi Gav,
You will have to have several warnings b4 they can take a plate of you, I looked into this b4 buying mine and ended up worrying over nothing as I was never stopped for the plate

after changing to a private plate and u change back to your old 1 or will it go back to dvla??

I've got M5XED (Spaced like that)
The only time it was ever questioned by the police was when they found my car after it had been nicked 
BUT...
They said that this was not illegal because there is no illegal spacing as they are all together
My dad's Called Kevin Page and he has:
K3V KP apparently that is illegal cuz there's too big a space between the V and the K, they didn't do anything about it though
