The car itself is/was a random bodge Lotus/Renault/Ford/Jaguar bits but the story behind it is epic and DeLorean himself was a real character.

They made 2 gold ones some owners painted them. Seen a red one looked surprisingly normal

i remember hearing about some guy in the uk, maybe bristol? that has bought all the unused and uncompleted cars and parts and plans to rebuild them and sell a few.

can't remember where i heard it though

that does look smart in yellow, only thing that looks wrong is the location of the door handle
