My iPad has arrived  going to collect after work.
What case is best? Is screen protection advisable or not worth it? I have film on the phone but that gets taken everywhere.
iPad will hardly leave the house, but I do want some protection.
Smart cover looks trick and is thin, but offers no protection to therear. There is a gel case that's £3 on eBay I might get that!
We do a leathe rfolder type one at work that would be great if I took it out with me
Recommendations? Steve? Robbo?

Ideally you do need something for when you're on the tube, preferably something in white that says iPad2 all over it. An iPad cap and t-shirt wouldn't look out of place either mate.

Not going on the tube with it. Just coffee table, bed, buro and kitchen. So just something to stop scratches ideally

Got a £3 eBay clear gel case and screen protector on both my iPhone and iPad.
Will get more money for them when iPhone 4S and iPad 3 come out as they will be in perfect condition.

I love the smart cover so clever.
There is a gel back cover on Amazon for a couple of quid works in tandem with the smart cover. I'll get that.

Smart cover is awesome, was in two minds about a lime green onein the apple store but in the end I couldn't justify the £35.

It was a lot, but its worth it. I went Orange, wanted green but this was justnas nice tbh, leather ones £60

£35 but worth it, it makes it usable in every situation, even lying down in bed it just rests perfectly on my chest!

I'm over the moon with it.
Only gripe is iPhone apps that are not specifically made for iPad like amazon etc that feel cheap. The rest is amazing. Hate using my phonen afterwards though looks so small

Same, noticeable difference in screen quality though when you go from the iPad to iphone 4.

If I was buying a 2 I'd be going for the smart cover as well. Expensive but least it's versatile enough to not get in the way.
Thought about a leather cover for my 1 but they all look shit/very expensive/annoying. After 12 months without a case it's hardly got a mark on the back.

im not keen on the smart cover. i prefer the old official cover for ipad 1 as you can stand the ipad up like a book.
sky news app is bang on heard mixed reviews about ebay app
