Right... Heres the build thread for my Smoke Grey GSi, Put a deposit down on it today and should be collecting it tomorrow night.
I did have another one lined up bit it fell through as when i went and looked over it for a 2nd time and it kept cutting out, but also noticed a 30cm long crack in the rear quarter where it had been fillered previously. So thats not for me!
So anyways... Ive got this one now. Much cleaner and lower mileage etc
Unsure why matey has painted the badges but they will immediately be changed for new ones and the speedlines will be done in silver. Also plan to swap the steering wheel from the momo one to a GSi 3 spoke if I can find one.
Comments welcomed

Looks like a tidy base to start with! Has it been resprayed? Whats the plans engine wise bud? Staying 1600 or is it getting the let treatment?

It has been resprayed Shaun yeah, very clean and matey selling it seems spot on aswell
It will be going C20LET, Going to build a C20let over winter in my shed and then fit it early next year. Build the let slowly and properly over winter, but for now it has a healthy rebuilt XE
Engine bay needs some tidying but will soon be sorted and a standard air filter will be fitted

badges were either removed and painted or left on and painted over. either way not assed as new ones will be fitted.
All other plastics have been removed though prior to painting. but thanks for your concern

Nothing as mental powerwise as you ron. just a rebuilt healthy let with phase 2 more than likely. approx 260hp will do me.
last one with phase 3.5 was a bit too much on the road everyday i thought.
Anyways, the car is home now safe and sound! Only found out today the car comes with a 5th spare speedline
Quick picture of it outside my house:
Very happy with it, no problems all the way home. The exhaust is knocking quite a bit on the rear beam which is fucking annoying. drives spot on though, so very happy
More pictures tomorrow once it has been given a good clean/polish. Also have aquired a steam cleaner to have a go on the interior
