I've been looking for AGES Under 700kg for a basic one Stripped, 16v, 4-2-1, decat system, cams and filter = 240+ bhp/tonne

Never used to like them but now, I wouldn't mind one. Would much prefer one with a VTS or GTi engine in though.

i origionally offered £600 he offered £800 so i offered £650 stating i wasnt keen on the seat and that a replacement would be hard to find. also that the car was high miles he then offered £850 to which i sent £700 final offer which he has sent a load of shit how its worth £1k back

Would only be worth £1k if it was totally mint and even then I think he'd be pushing it a little.

I miss my brothers one of these from 1998. was amazing back then. all i can remember was it being dark grey, slammed on comp mo's in silver and abit of engine work. loved it.

theyre still pretty fast for a 1.4 seeing o-60 times of 9 secs, get evo to time it and were looking at high 7s easily...

i think £700 would be fair, id only rag it about as a run around
