again we're thinking of moving to a bigger house and may need to sell a car or two to help make up the deposit.

Fee mentioned selling her car. I'll say from the outset that I'm not keen on this and would only let it go for the right money. I'd rather an idle car than giving it away as such.

BUT it makes sense selling hers as its just too quick for normal trackdays and some of the fun in it is therefor lost. It would and does make an ideal track car, but it can not be run on a shoestring. It would be more suited for use in TimeAttack or a saloon racing series. It up to blue book regs so entering into a relevent series should be fairly painless.

I'll detail the spec and spares in a bit... but the basics

700bhp Lightweight Nissan Skyline R32 GTR (has 3 maps, over 600 on normal pump fuel, 700 on 50% E85)
1990 'early lighter weight' car. Imported around 2000, 2 owners in the UK.
EXTENSIVE spares....

you planning to buy it to take the kids to school or dogs on walks?

must be "worth" £15k easy

please note: "" stands for in the internet and in the real world the market is very small for such a car

It has some better history than the Tasian rep you posted (and beat it on track when it was running 700bhp and Fee was running 480!)

10k..... I know its hard to price but 10k is WAY off the mark in my opinion.

We spent over 10k on it in the winter.....
over 10k on it last winter....

To build that engine you'd be looking around 10k. Thats new, i know.... but just giving example.

Even selling some of the spares would prob make about 5k alone.

The more I think about it the less I want to sell.... And i've just remembered it wouldnt be sold for the deposit, but for an extension

I dont really use the car much these days _ I'm not very gentle on cars and I cant fit in her seat. If I swapped seats around I'd use it more

I suppose it can be run at low boost to keep it sane on trackdays. Its not too fast as such.... its just a hell of a lot faster than 'normal' trackday traffic. You feel you can use it.

The engine is prob good for 900odd bhp with a simple turbo change and fueling capacity increase

I dont think i'd let it go for less than 20k

How much do you need to raise?

Selling the 911 & some of your spares not out the question? Keep the GTR laid up for a season so your not constantly chucking bucks at it??

Colin - I dont want to sell the 911. I dont use it but its actually a bit of an investment now
