Not too hot on Saxo knowledge but going to split mine for bits as i killed the clutch tonight and have enough on my plate without doing a clutch & forking out any more money.

Can someone gimme some rough prices on it in bits.
Engines on 92k pulls hard right through, good box as well.
Rear beams 6 weeks old.
Original wheels also.

Wouldnt have thought so with the mileage, my engine (JP4 newer style from a C2 VTS) was only £250 with 35k

Fitting a clutch will take less time than ripping it apart surely??Then you will have the hassle of trying to shift everything.

Depending on what you paid for it,you could make money, but its a big risk and wont be a quick turnaround.

Was just gonna park it up and take bits off it as and when there sold, any proceeds will be going into my savings.

I'll price and clutch tomorrow and see how i feel about it tomorrow, just fed up spending all my free time under a bonnet.

RE - What it owes me, including MOT'ing, Tax'ing, new beam & springs £750/800

Im not a mechanic, but am capable of doing a clutch etc. quite often I feel like you though and would rather a garage did it for the sake of £80
