We are currently based in Wales, Old Radnor. However we are in the process moving to a much bigger premises in Leominster, there wont be any down time for us.

Wheel wise, depends on how bad the kerbing is and if they need sand blasting due to failing paint etc. However for a colour change and basic refurb, you would be looking at ~200 returned to you.

Rocker cover, between 30 - 60 depending on the size of it. (Pics would be needed)

You have to be careful with rockers, we would need to use high heat paints (limits the colours a bit) and clear (upto 160c).

Cheers,
Simon @ Spray Shack

You asked me, I linked you to the policy which prohibits speculative sales, and you posted one anyway?

dont think we have a traders area or trader ads so to speak, too much hassle youre better off using the forum normally then when you see someone who might need your services u2u them or ask them to contact you etc

I dont really think theres any hassle in it to be honest, the traders are seperate to the forum, no responsibility is taken by the forum for sales to/from the traders and thats in the disclaimer when users sign up. Users get discounts with the traders, group buys you name it, it benefits forum and traders lots!.

A Trader membership is £200p/year on clio sport, they have in excess of 20 traders (including myself), this money goes into the club etc and put back into events etc and the costs of running it.

Anyway sorry ive p*ssed ian off, but times are hard, all work is needed. I was going to do the first 5 small item jobs for FREE if i have the colour PAINT IN STOCK, i did the job above for FREE.

Cheers,
Si

It's taxable so they won't be seeing the whole £200 and they'll also need to sort out the tax return to make sure they're earning money legally, which either costs money or takes time.

Hence why we currently don't do it.

If you genuinely think a trader section is a good idea and you can put me in touch with their FA then fire away. Until then, that is where we are.

No worries Ian, ill have word with some of the admins and see how they get on with it. Like every business, 20% would have to be put away for mr tax man. I assume you have to do this away for the premium memberships.........

Thanks for tolerating this thread, hopefully i can get 4 more people to do some work for FREE for (again assuming i have the paint in they are after)

Hi chaps , i have to draw the line somewhere size wise, obviously i cant do a whole set of wheels for free!!

4 more items to do for free, MAX size is 30cm x 30cm, the "FREE" spray includes colours i have in stock, and doesnt include items in very bad condition, previous DIY painting or anything i have to strip or remove / fill serious damage. (Obviously send me a pic, we will take these items on normaly just not for free!)

1 ITEM PER PERSON, you must be prepared to do a testimonial on here (in this thread if you want) and you must have the parts available now ready to go in the next day or 2.

Mostly renault colours at the moment, i do have some VW stuff tucked away aswell, anything i spray you'll get a paint code for, so if you want to match it later, you will be able.

Dark Anthracite,
Medium anthracite (my own mix, so no paint code)
Light Anthracite (basically the renault standard colour),
Gloss Black,
Pearl Black,
Black Gold,
ST Orange,
Ford Graphite Grey,
Monaco Blue
Mondial Blue
Arctic Blue
Liquid yellow,
Inferno Red
Flame Red
Gloss Red
Titanium Silver
Platinum Silver
Brilliant White
Yellow
Light Yellow
Pearl Blue
Orange
Hot Pink
Dark Green
Racing Blue
Mysik Blue

1. ?
2. ?
3. ?
4. ?

Can I just ask - are you an actual company (like say Tom on here) or do you spray things in your shed kinda thing?

Also, there seems to be no contact details for you whatsoever on your website - whilst your photos look very impressive, I have no idea if you are legit or not TBH.

LOL yes we are an actual company, legit. At the moment we are based in wales with all the farmers, we currently rent a farmers out building on his land. Hence we dont have an address other than my home address at the moment!.

However we have just excepted a lease on a unit based in Leominster, we all have to start small so i had to prove the concept locally first.

On the example above we didnt, as it was an all over the same colour and it was well glued on.

It was lightly sand blasted, air blasted to remove any sand.

Solvent etch primer on the plastic, metal etch primer on the badge to make sure to good adhesion.

2k White primer all over, base coat, finally 2k aniti scratch clear coat.

If you wanted a different colour badge or you want it removed before the spray, this is no problems either

Yes we all have to start somewhere but having a lack of contact details doesn't fill potential customers with confidence. If I found your website from Google for example just the fact that you are uncontactable other than by a form makes me think you are a fly-by-night (sorry but I won't be the only person with that opinion).

When I was self employed I put down my home address and I got a couple of local rate numbers for people to contact me on also as I wanted to advertise/market my business at the time.

Why is everyone feeling the need to tear this guy a new one?

The workman ship seems pretty good and he's being very professional about the whole thing.. Time will tell but I think he does deserve the benefit of the doubt.

I agree Davey, and I'd quite happily use him for some of my work. It still doesn't negate the fact he used the wrong primer though.
