Tonight 8pm
''No one can catch him on the Formula 1 circuit, but how will Sebastian Vettel fare as the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car?
The world champion burns rubber around the track and discusses his meteoric rise to the top of the podium. And, if the German hotshot thinks the F1 championship is hotly contested, wait until he sees the special F1 Top Gear leader board, currently headed by Rubens Barrichello. Can Sebastian claim another pole position?''

If you want to spend less than £7,000 on a new car, you'll have to opt for a tiny Indian-made hatchback called the Nissan Pixo - Britain's cheapest car. But if you went looking for a second-hand car? Or rather, what if Top Gear went looking for you? Tonight Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond see what bargains they can find for the same money, while James May is in America, where he drives the Range Rover Evoque through Death Valley, then chauffeurs a mystery megastar across Las Vegas. Meanwhile, this week's Star in the Reasonably Priced Car should set a respectable time: it's reigning Formula 1 champion Sebastian Vettel.

we did a fly drive holiday when i was a kid. my old man decided we should go through death valley instead of taking the highway (safe option). our car broke down and we had to wait a couple of hours before we saw a passing truck. luckily the guy was sound and pulled over then promised he would send a recovery vehicle for us when he got to the next town. this was before everyone had mobile phones. by the time they recovered us it was about 3am and we could hear rattle snakes! was scary as fuck!

I really like Vettel and that interview is a pretty good example of why. He's a young lad having fun and I'd certainly like to join him for a few beers.
How could they not have an E39 M5 in that under £7k line up? Fuds.

They also said you couldn't get a blobeye STI for £7k, but that's exactly what mine cost! Have to admit that Merc was lovely though.

I thought tonights show was really good - lots of actual car stuff! Next weeks looks good too, with the trains
I guess they are planning on selling on that 850 and CL600 too - seeing as they covered up the last digit of the numberplate on both Or was that to 'protect the identity' of the ex drug-dealer of the Merc?
