I dont usually believe in weird ghost etc stories, but this kinda freaked me out.
I was sat round my mums house on friday with my mum and auntie. My auntie decided to tell us this story of what happened on tuesday. She said i feel a right twat but i have to tell somebody.
She was out in a tent camping in the early evening, when she suddenly heard someone call her name three times. She was the only one in the tent and nobody else was near the tent. She said it sounded like they was right next to her.
With this i look at my mum as if to say what a weirdo, and my mum is bright white looking freaked out.
She say i dont believe it. Tuesday evening i was in the front garden on my own and i heard someone call my name three times. She said it was that loud and close that she jumped up to see who it was, and nobody was anywhere near the house. She even looked behind the rubbish bins as she thought someone was messing her about.
I dont ever believe this type of stuff, but ive found it quite strange how freaked out my mum was, so i know she wasnt talking rubbish. They are twins as well, which makes it even strange imo.

Thing with ghost stories is that its always somesones friend of a friends said had this or that happen to them. I personally think it bullshit, twins don't have a connection btw, they don't inherit telephaphy (sp) just because they are born on the same day
But its still weird how they both have it happened to them :/

they dont inherit telepathy but it is commonly noted they have an abnormal connection to one another. remember seeing a program on it once and it was fascinating.
also with regards to your post dan my mum had something very similar when her dad died.

I never velieved in ghosts until a.couple of weeks back something woke me at 3:40am. I really dont know what it was but something was there as i could feel.it.
Proper freaked me out. I sound like a nutter but im one of the most anti ghost people there are.
