Warren, how much would you charge for that sort of thing?

Have always considered the Astra 150, but wondered how much the box would be to fix if it all went wrong?

Im not no, simply because it will cost another £250 and the fault, as usual is with that one bearing

although i will be doing another next week where i will replace all of them,

Its down to the customer weather they want to spend the extra amount

If you know dimensions, I know someone at NSK (Uk sales manager I think), he might be able to sort you something.

I wonder if that magnet was put there as an update later on as they knew many people would need it.

Mine did that, on my old company Vectra (1.9 CDTi) 07 reg.

Did it for about 3 weeks, then the gearbox died. I never actually found out what the problem was, but Vauxhall had to replace the gearbox, clutch and flywheel because it caused that much damage

The car was in Vauxhall for about 5 weeks while my company argued it out with Vauxhall on who was paying, because that much damage shouldn't of happened on that age of car. In the end, they both paid 50/50

thats what this used to do, and it you held the gear stick on off throttle in 5th and 6th would move too.....
