Powerbox is just a Helmholtz plenum...

When you put a powerbox in i presume the MPG will fall to the floor? Or does it not make too much difference?

Good manifold....powerbox.....cams.....good set of tyres.....strip it out (its free)......good bore straight through exhaust......good induction kit and cold air feed
but if you got money then engine work port and polish.....big valves...etc etc loads

Speaking from experience it's a waste of money, will never be that quick without spending 000's.....Use the money that you would spend to stick an XE in it and insure it.

spoke to someone yesterday with a 14xe and his only mod was a inlet box, claimed he has a print out of over 106bhp wich is pretty good for what they are, add a 4 branch, set of cams and a map should easy get a lot more than that
throttle bodies and your onto a winner
