coz ur saying the coolant has mixed im guessing its mixed with the oil. as i work in the trade its a big NO for letting coolant and any oil just run down the drain u will be contaminating the ground. if the council find out or any1 reports u, u will have a massive fine

Coolant is a form of glycol, which is actually like an oily substance and cant be put to drains etc.
Work with it alot offshore and when I worked in the yard and the company were facing fines for coolant from engines getting into drains and the oil / water seperator didnt seperate it as it mixes with water

Then what do you do with your old coolant? Assuming you have changed it at some point.

No one probably does take it to a tip, but you should. Garages will likely put it in with their waste oil or a seperate place for it and itl get collected with the waste oil

And your not supposed to put chip pan oil, cooking oil, chip pan fat etc down your sink drains for the same reason but everyone does it.
If anyone has a problem with you doing it over drains just ask them if they dispose of their cooking oils appropriately.
