if it cant fly or walk the rspca will just put it down at the vets!

you could always try ringing around out of hours vets but 9 times out of ten there get put down!

my wife works in a out of hours vets!

It will eat dog or cat food and drink water. If it's distressed it won't eat so don't crowd it. Put it in a box with something to eat and drink and place it near a window in a quiet room.

Give it an hour or so alone to see if it will eat anything then move it to somewhere dark as it will be less stressful. Don't handle it.

Give him a buffet of worms, little bugs, seeds, whatever. He'll be bound to eat something.

Yes leave him in the box to rest, if you keep playing with it it'll be very unsettled. He'll eat when he feels comfortable

Put some seed in. Make a bed out of straw etc for him so he can be comfy. He's probably better off not being with RSPCA

Looks like a wren.

As long as it has food and water I'd leave it be for now, it's easy to stress them if you handle them too much.

my mum found an injured bird the other week and took it to some animal centre place (not rspca) which sorts them out and releases them back into the wild.
