Hi again.
I while ago i enquired on here for ideas to coverup a measly little tattoo on my back.
Skip forward a few months, i drew up a big bloody design to go from shoulderblade to shoulderblade and coverup my little one.
Yesterday my tattoo artist started on it, and got all the linework finished (4hours or so)
But today it looks wonky??. the stencil was definatly straight when it went on, does your back skin "shift"??
What would you do with a wonky tattoo (baring in mind its not finished yet?)

tell the tattooist. far better let him know then walk away ££ out of pocket with something your not happy with
can i just ask though, your not looking over your shoulder in the mirror at it are you. twisting your neck and leaning over to see it? may make it look wonkey.
get a pic of it up, so far...

Why don't you work out more on one side to even it out?

Aside from the fact it only covers 20% of the old tattoo, it doesn't look too bad, although it doesn't line up over the old one so something's out somewhere.

dont get me wrong here. that's a canny good tattoo but i wouldn't say he's the best skilled tattooist iv seen. some lines are a bit thicker than others and were the points meet up, some are shaper and some aint. could just be my eyesight but if not im sure the finished thing will look good.
iv had some horrors before, even the cover up iv got is far from perfect and faded to fook

it's deffo wonky!
The bottom part isn't in line with your spine.
It doesn't cover the old one at all.

i would say as the tattoo goes down it skews to the right. unless your spine is out of wack i would say the tattoo is pissed

Some of those lines are horrific. Bit pointless if it doesnt acutally cover the old one

take that to someone now who is reputed and good and they might be able to salvage that, as mentioned some of those lines are shockingly bad.

I think there are too many things throwing your eye out; your left shoulder seems bigger than your right anyway but the light cast over the right shoulder isn't helping.
It does look slightly wonky BUT I can't tell if its just the picture

go somewhere else and ask for opinions; no harm in asking for a pro's take on it
