got my quote through eariler in the month, decided to remove corrado from insurance, seeing as i just paid for a years insurance and drove it about 100miles in the year 
to insure the escort on a multicar policy , but only having 1 car on the policy £387
to insure escort on a single car policy is £430
am sure i pay less to insure the corrado for a year, they tell me the only reason they could come up with is that i've owned the corrado longer

387 is exactly 90% of 430. Their systems probely just add all premiums together then apply a standard 10% discount for a 'multicar' policy

the reason that ususaly hapens is due to you loose ya muti car disccount if u apply for a single car qoute over a muti car qoute also the length of time you own a car dose contribut to lowering ya insurance aswell and risk is taken into account on the area risk has increased this year for all insurance of between 40% to 60% due to more crashes last year as of the bad weather

little tricks that carnt be proven by insurance that ususaly lowwers ya insurance milage use 5000 a year always say you are living with a partner wether or not u are no mods there is a few other i carnt think of at the min

I don't think there are any tricks to insurance, they just make up a figure on the spot. You spent more time faffing about with little details to save £4.50 than just paying it sometimes.

Mine is the same, they'll write you a letter after you take it out asking you to either insure another car or pay the extra 10%.

not really anymore. people need the keys to drive the car away anyway so they need to break into peoples houses to get them. car and house keys are usually together.

there is a few falls in insurance and things like to use to your advantage for exaple not declering mods people auto think it will voide ya insurance but ya insurance company alow u to declar your mods at the point of an accident and pay the difference from then till the end of ya policy for example u crash on 25/12/2011 and ya inurance is due for renewal on 25/02/2012 they will just increas ya final payments so that ya insurance is not voide so u can still claim
