Starting to get a little chilly in the mornings now I refuse to have the heating on in August though.

Anybody put it back on yet then? My other halfts dad has had it on since July in Scotland

I've noticed that it isn't exactly warm in the mornings around 6:30 when I get up. We put the heating on the other day for about 10 mins just to check all the radiators warmed up as expected. Don't want to get to the point we need it on to find out something has gone funny.

It's not really been on since about May, I can't see it being too long before we start using it again.

Put mine on yesterday. Getting cold at night. I have been wearing shorts though. Refuse to wear trousers at the height of summer.

I'm glad my flat keeps itself warm as the cost of running the boiler is fucking ridiculous to be fair. Think I worked out during January this year I was spending £7 a day in gas FFS! £200 a month

Not even considered it. I'm not a naturally warm person but living in a middle flat means i'm generally roasting all year round

Not put it on yet, but considering putting a blanket over our duvet when we go to bed as it's getting quite cold at night upstairs now.

Ours has been on a couple of times. The front room doesn't get any sun due to trees blocking the window so stays pretty cool

Still in shorts in Lincoln, jeans in Scotland this week. See what its like tomorrow when we get back but will be jeans and jumpers before that boiler goes back on right this minute I'm laying on the sofa bed in our cottage with all the Windows open 20 miles south of Edinburgh

Even in the depth of winter last year the heating came on for 30 mins in the morning then 5pm -10pm at night

Benefits of a new build!

It's noticeably warmer in London than it is in Glasgow.

I've had my heating on a couple of times, more to get stuff dried really, if I didn't have washing I'd probably have left it off.
