Hi guys,
Just to let you know we still have places left for the Castle Combe Summer Action Day on the 10th of September, its the usual format of show off your car, take it out on track for some abuse and then eat BBQ. If you fancy coming its going to cost £31 for entry and getting on track, to buy tickets please read http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=611028
Its a great day so have a look at the thread and hopefully we will see you on the 10th

Really great time to have your first track time!
No great pressure and only 15 mins on track with like minded people.
A very good day out to be had, get all over it.
See u all there

One of the cheapest ways to get on track, as well as the usual BBQ, banter and a full hit of friendly faces to make you feel welcome.
Don't miss out

Never taken the zed on track. Are you all going to be flat out nutter drivers?
I think I might come along to this!
What time do you have to be there in the morning? When is the track slot?

The WR sessions are very safe and polite, even the nutters give way and follow the rules.
Sign-on is from 8am, track slot is 12.00.

The WR session is an ideal start point imo, obviously there's mixed abilities out there but everyone knows that and generally with it being just WR, we usually know everyone's experience levels and will happily give that extra bit of space if needed to avoid putting pressure on someone who's not yet confident. End of the day, we've all been there so we know what it's like and as Ian said everyone usually does a good job of obeying the rules.

I found a clip from Top Gear the other day, The Stig did a 1:35 in an Astra Derv, I was only a second slower in my 1.2
I need to see what I'm doing without a passenger, I did 1.31s at TVL with Daveskater in, not exactly the heaviest of passengers but a passenger none the less

That 1.35 by the Stig was a standing start Mike.

a lol fail at comparing yourself to the stig, then finding out you got a massive headstart and still got beat
only teasing mike 1.35 is good for a 1,2 corsa imo
