Where have these been all my life?!
Only just got one, so much easier than a wet shave and I would say VERY nearly as close a shave.
Got this one:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-HQ7390-17-Williams-Rechargeable/dp/B001AW8I3S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1314746414&sr=8-1
So I can pretend I'm an F1 driver
That is all.

I have one. Convenient but shit compared to a wet shave IMO

I fancy one purely because I'm lazy, how close a shave is it?

The one I have is genuinely not much worse than a wet shave,. I work in a professional environment and would happily go into work having shaved with the electric shaver.

I hate wet shaving and always came out with a few sports/rashes.
I've got a braun and it shaves as close as a wet shave.

Itchy red rash what are these electric ones like for 3-5 days worth of growth though? Its been about 8 years since I used an electric shaver.

I haven't shaved for 3 weeks - I look homeless
infact, you know its time to shave when you can see your beard, I don't mean with a mirror but just in your peripheral vision

I rarely shave tbh I'm a stubble fan. But when I shave unless in a massive rush I wet shave as nothing can compare.
The hairs on my neck literally get snagged or won't trim short enough. Never an issue with some foam and a blade

Got one of those Philips shavers with the charging and cleaning docks. Really good. Had no use for it since I got my iStubble though!
Never wet shaved in my life.

One in the link looks like the one my dad got recently
Electric ones don't do so well on a few days' of growth so you usually need to use the trimmer thing first otherwise it'll just rip the hair out which isn't comfortable.

i get a terrible rash on my neck when i use these so i prefer to wet shave if i have to be clean shaven, otherwise use hair clippers
