Fat fucking Leon Clarke.
Was seen on the piss in wolves day before game, hadn't score din about 10 games, then scores a goal when we're 2/3-0 down and puts his finger to his lips to tell fans to shush after we slated him. Fat waste of space. Needs to remember where he came from, a fucking slum in the arsehole of wolves. Prick.

Player is in the wrong there. Having looked at his wikipedia he is 26 and had had 10 clubs. Tells its own story.

He is a terrible manager.
He spent a week befre the oxford derby winding up James Constable - a man who only plays well when he is wound up.
He scored 2 goals and put in the sort of performance we hadnt seen for a while ... De canios response was to run down the touchline, abuse the Oxford fans and get sent to the stands.
The bloke is thick, suprised if he is there at christmas.
Couldnt happen to a nicer club

From what I saw on SSN last night it looked like the player had a disagreement with a member of the coaching staff. When Di Canio strolled over to sort it the player appeared to play up with Di Canio, so he grabbed the players shirt and thats when it kicked off.
Personally thought the player showed his manager a lack of respect and should get kicked out the club.

Based on the fact he manages Swindon and Dr Pepper supports Oxford.
That is literally all.

Dr Pepper is the guy that was guaranteeing that England were going to win the World Cup last year. And he was deadly serious about it.

2129: BBC Wiltshire's Chris Wise reports that Swindon striker Leon Clarke, who only joined the club from QPR 12 days ago, will be allowed to leave on loan following his bust-up with manager Paolo Di Canio after Tuesday's game against Southampton.

11th club at the age of 26
Di Canio's reputation merely preceeding him, the guy is clearly a jumped up wanker.

based on the fact that ive seen them play twice this year - and they are terrible ... despite having one of the best squads in the league.... and based on the fact that I work with Swindon fans who all rate him as doing a terrible job and want him sacked before he does some real damage. Its hard managing down in these leagues - the people who do well are specialists at this level - they are not normally Di Canios - they are journeymen who have years of experiance and contacts in and around the lower leagues .... people like chris Wilder .... thats why Oxford were getting relegated with big name managers who had no idea what they were doing at this level
The way the man went about the derby game was unreal - he managed to get our players and fans bang up for it, and put all the pressure on his own side - to the point he lost his cool and got sent off.
Now they havnt won a game since and hes falling out with his players and staff in public.
Not exactly doing a great job is he?

every manager has his own style and it always takes a while for their style to shine through in the players they have

at this level you dont want style or flair ...you want a boss who runs a tight ship, gets the players fit, keeps their head in the game ..... and most impostantly has a string of contacts so they can pull in free transfers and short term loans from other clubs.
Di Canio has none of this as far as I can see
