No, because I would have one if I could.

I've driven a 520dM and it was nice, much better than a 320d and a 120d that me and the mrs are rolling around in Devon at the mo.

As much as I love my Astra I would have one over it any day, I just won't get rid of the Astra. The 5 series is a lovely car to drive.

525d with a remap is 265bhp and 400lbft.

That's the better option ans it has a proper gearbox too.

You won't get more than 40mpg from any BMW diesel that isn't a brand new efficient dynamics model IMO.

Are they true readings or just the trip computer being fooled/over reading?

After test driving the M5 myself, I would happily argue that too.
For every day use, the M5 struggles to make sense because power is far too high up in rev range.

Damn it John, I'd of thought you would of understood what I was getting at there! How many miles to a tenner people are usually the same people that believe the trip computer instant MPG.

I find it funny that people want good mpg, but don't mind losing thousands over a year in deprication.

your not planning enough imo (aimed at most of the people in the world)

Sorry Matty

I know what you mean though, they'll be driving down a flat motorway at 60, reset the computer, get 80mpg then post it on the internet.
