Na mate the 3D ones come in a mount together. I've got a non HD one for a rear cam now, and I bought a 960p one for the helmet cam, done a little test video just trying to find an editor to merge them into the same screen, trying to see if Vegas does it

I want another one, got the original Hero wide but I want another one to mount backwards facing, and maybe one for a pedal cam, but they're £100 a pop still
3d one rocks, would love that.

I paid £190 for this 960p one, been waiting for ages for a 2nd hand one to come up but they barely ever do. Paid £150 a few years back through AK for the Motorsport Hero wide one. Worth every penny

That's the one I've got. The quality is good enough for me TBH, don't see the point in the HD one

Mine doesn't suffer from wind noise in the clear case.
Rob, have you changed the settings on the camera to lower the recording volume?

You go into settings, you should come across a setting that says HI or LO, if it's HI change it to LO. If it's LO then god knows why it's got wind noise, have you got the waterproof seal in? Saying that I run mine without it and get no wind noise

Robin HD is so much better. If you can see my YouTube channel (look I'm my progress thread for a recent video) then look back at a previous video in non HD and see the difference
And I filmed 3 lots of tracktime at Silverstone yesterday, going to try and get some editing done today

Ah, so you don't need the standard def one anymore and you need to upgrade that to HD too?

Do these not struggle a bit with noise range? Was talking to a lad that runs a lot of incar cameras at the SMRC meets and he's really not a fan?
Was using a twin camera vbox set up the other weekend. Was awesome but ££££!

The original non HD version, yes definetly the sound wasn't great and it was a massive down point for me. They've done a great job on this HD one though. Especially selling an open back to allow the sound in.
As I say there are plenty of others out there that are better but I think you'll struggle for one for this price range, plus ease of use and the fact it can take a bit of abuse!

Hobbling across to the bloke kinda takes the seriousness out of it though as if I was the other bloke I'd start cracking up at an angry Northerner hobbling towards me
