what hatchback dop people think are the best for around £500-£1500

corsa sport,106 gti,vts,fiesta zetec s etc etc

just wondering what the overall best is and peoples opinions of them

Out of them lot, i would say zetec s overall. But the 106 gti and vts would be faster.

iv had a corsa sport and it was nippy but seriosly bad on fuel imo.

i also didnt like my zetec s, was slow and didnt anything about it

my mates selling his vts for £1200 and its nice, lowered 40mm on comps,full decat exhaust system and 280mm momo steering wheel.. im just put off by what every1 says about french cars

This. My most reliable cars have been Citroens. Vauxhall have caused me nothing but problems

For me its the corsa!

The gti and vts will be quicker but i dont like the offset driving position, plus everyone i no that has one has nothing but problems.

The zetec will be slower and they rust like fuck, nearly as bad as nova's

Plus pound for pound, you would probs get a better deal with the corsa i.e milage, service history, condition

Don't be. I've had my 206 GTi for about 18 month now and have had no real problems with it so far.
My sister never had any problems with her 206 nor her Clio neither.
