I hope this is good. It has Greg McHugh in it. I loved Gary Tank Commander.

Likewise, think it has potential. Some of the characters are spot on as well; used to have a roommate in first like JP, constantly doing press ups off bar/kitchen worktops

I liked it. Tbh, if you've been to uni (and lived in a student house) you'll get it totally. First episode brought back memories and made me feel old.
If you've not you may think it's shit!

I guess it depends on whether you picked your house mates?
1st year I lived in student accommodation like halls, where most people were like JP.
Then the next few years I lived in houses with mates I got on with. My 2nd year there were 8 of us in a house, but everyone was totally cool / we had an awesome time.
The problem with fresh meat is that you've got essentially 7 emotionally unstable weirdos in a house together and I don't remember uni being anything like that. Most people I met at uni are confident / extroverted.

i haven't been to uni or lived with roomates and i thought it was great.
not as many laughs as inbetweeners (after all, any comedy on channel 4 is going to be compared to that) but still funny nonetheless.
gloryhole was good, as was JP trying to get kingsley in the toilet.
where is that christian bird from? hollyoaks? shes fit
