whilst obviously not getting carried away, i think this highlights just how easily long held views can turn out to be wrong.

If found out to be true a lot of theories would go right out the window
I think they will find an explanation though.

You don't need it, our grasp of physics is nonsense and very basic.
Bending space will how we eventually conquer it

There have been experiments that have apparently done this before that I've never seen anything else about after that.
Speed of light doesn't really explain it either, it's interesting if you research it.
Light just happens to travel at the cosmic constant, if that was actually proved not to be a constant then there would be massive repercussions to current physics.
There are other weird phenomena like quantum entanglement and one electron can be connected to another one over an unlimited distance, so changes would be instantaneous.
Science is great.

There was an interview on the radio the other day about teaching intelligent design as science, they'd got some teacher to argue the intelligent design point and Richard Dawkins to argue for evolution

Can't see anything on this other than the BBC, everywhere else links back to there.

That is interesting, I should really read a book on quantum physics.

This will be why only the BBC had it, didn't sound plausible.

I thought about that a few mins after I'd posted but was too late.
Still implausible anyway.
