Thought id put this up now that I have a few good pictures off it. About 3 weeks ago a mate of mine rang me, told me that he was fed up with his nova project he has been doing for over a year, he has spend alot of time on the cars body on the sills and arches ect ect, but unfortunatly he somehow managed to set fire to the dash, so he offered me it at a price I couldnt say no too.

The car is a Nova 1.2 with 38k on. Heres some pics of when I got it.

When we collected it.

And when we got it back, cleaned out all the parts which came with it, GSI Bumpers ect. Wore Dez looking rather chuffed in the pic too

The engine it came with after we stripped wiring off (burnt in fire)

And how good the car is.

Battery tray had took a bit of acid off the battery of when it caught fire. But is still fairly solid.

Then this arrived.

And was fitted with allot of swearing.

Still needs to be welded into position and the front turret ties fitted, its a 8 point cage.

Then these arrived

Which are very shnazzy indeed. Almost new, covered a few hundred miles.

And this nice little bit of kit.

That sit so far and the car now sits like this

Need to sort out internal shifter and straight corsa steering column to be fitted along with a few other bits like seat bars for bucket seats and rear turrets for the coilovers. I will get some pics up of the engine build when it progresses.

Hold Tight for updates

Can't be more than 8 inches, although Linch may fit them where he works so will know all about that, I used to fit them all the time as a sign writer.

I actuly like the sun strip, and a low one like that is essential with a car with low buckets and a cage as you can't have folding sun visors they foul on the cage.

I will get some pics when the welding is done plan on putting plate under the mounting points for extra stregth.
