Right basically I went to look at one today, I want to give you a spec and you tell me what you think it's worth or what you'd pay for it?
In standard form the only one I can find that is similar is a convertible and it's £14,600 on Autotrader.
49k miles
Imola red
04 plate
Xenons
Auto headlights/wipers
Cruise control
Rear Parking Sensors
Harmon sound system
DVD player
Sat nav
Recaro bucket seats
BBS CH's
KW V3's with Clubsport suspension on fronts
Uprated Cams more for top end
Supersprint manifold
Miltek exhaust
Remap
Michelin pilot cup sports
AP brakes all round with Pagid RS29's
CSL bootlid
CSL carbon exhaust surround
It's pretty mint just stone chips on front bumper is the only bad point!
BMW service history then independent after warranty ran out, inspection 2 not long done, inspection 1 not due for 12k miles....
Any ideas peeps?

It's awesome. I love it! Just not sure on asking price. I know I can knock him down just wondered what people thought it was worth. I wish you were right Dan but that's less than standard ones are worth

Here is a lower milage example on PH http://pistonheads.co.uk/sales/3050517.htm which is £14K so i guess with the extra's they want around £16.5K for it? Does it come with all standard parts aswell if so i would say £16 would be fair

Pretty spot on. 16k is his asking price BUT he would include a set of CSL wheels at that price & I said I'm not bothered about them so he said he would drop the price. It's a guy my mates Dad knows and he's had it 8 years - 6 months from new. HPI clear, never been in an accident etc. He originally said 14k and I went with the intention of buying today but he'd had another think about what it was worth so the new price threw me a bit.
Basically I reckon 15k maybe less I could get it for, worth it?

If he originally said 14k id go with 14k in notes, flash it around a bit and say you will take it away cash in hand without the extra wheels. Bit shitty raising the price

Only problem with that is I need to sell my car to get that money lol! But he said he wouldn't mind holding it. Just wondered what people thought about price & circumstances. I can bargain on the fact he hasn't had to go through the agro of putting up for sale...

I'd be wary of mods. Costly to replace with STD parts and harder to sell on. But if done to a high standard then a bargain if you where thinking about doing these yourself.
Is it a manual?
Echo the imola comment from Dan. Very desirable and usually sell for more

I would try £15K with the CSL wheels to start as they are worth a few ££'s and would bring the price down to £14K

I want the mods Jambo. It's a big buying point for this one for me! Precisely the point, save a fortune by not having to do the mods myself, exhaust system alone was about 2k :-/
It's a manual yeah, which again is exactly what I want.
Might try that Nova, have to have a think about different haggling points. Just wanted opinions from people who've perhaps owned one so cheers lads, it's not as expensive as I first thought

I took 16.5 for a minted 05 plate a year ago with real CSL's, fbmwsh etc
I'd look to pay about 13k for the 04, plenty about so dont get hung up if he wont budge!!

Yeah I know what you're saying Colin, but there isn't any in this spec or even close for sale! Just I know people say mods don't add value.
Yeah Jambo, about 3k of brakes aren't they? Seats are the nuts Jambo, but yea exactly that really. It does come with the standard seats so to be fair if they're easy to swap then it could be possible for normal use.

How did you rate it performance wise compared to the MPS Graham?

Hard to say without racing together. It's completely different power delivery, but its got a few bots done so straight line as both cars are I think the M3 would have the legs on the MPS, if I got my car remapped it'd destroy it. But I want the car more for the handling, they are awesome, I went out in this one at Silverstone, in the wet & on Pilot Cup Sports (meant to be a no no in the wet) and it was so much better than the MPS. Turn in is epic, just getting annoyed with wheel spinning out of tight corners on track tbh in the MPS. Buying a car that's good out the box seems the way forwards!
