Well collected my Corsa VXR Nürburgring Edition last Saturday thought i would get a feel for the car and a collection of pictures to make it a bit intresting before i posted here.

So bought / collected the car from my dealer in Cumnock Ayrshire from a good friend who i met via vxronline, was kept well up to date on its full build dates times and location weekly for the past 6 months, sadly i had to drop my afl headlights as it would of delayed my car and i was keen to have one of the first in the UK i was third to be exact lol But not all is lost lucky afl sight and light packages can now be retro fitted and the parts will be on route as soon as vauxhall allow Nürburgring Edition parts to be dispatched.

Car arrived early Tuesday morning and my mate sent me pictures while i was working, Quickly zoomed over for a look after work and was over the moon

After a few days of being cleaned up and detailed from my mate Saturday finaly came around and headed over for some pictures and to take her away.

Like hoped i instantly felt the difference in the car in comparison to my old VXR, power is delivered much quicker and smoother, the over all feel of the car due to the bilstein setup is excellent maybe a much stiffer harder ride than pervious but body flex isnt an issue anymore and is defo more refined

The only thing i found to come as a shock and maybe a let down was the exhaust, it has no sound what so ever its silly silly quite and stays the same be it 0-70... I made a gay video for a few on the fellas on VXRonline who were all waiting a few months yet till theirs arrives as it was a question everyone really wanted to know

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GznVEf5kMjo

Did come with its gadgets and extras, full heater leathers and i went for the Zenec over the new touch and connect, means i can tinker and get some fancy gear for the future with it

Sold old C4RSA to a fella in my village so see the old bus daily, and we became good friends of late after quite a rocky past since the weather came back we had a little shoot.

So thats us... well not quite ! got many plans for this car and it is basically a base point the way it is atm and since my wife Caroline had her go she fell in love and we are currenlty discussing/enquiring about trading in C5RSA and buyng another Nürburgring Edition in green

Sorry for the big post and picture dump

Thats a little bit sexy! I take my green comment back, white looks perfect. Those wheels are fantastic.

Looks amazing Ryan

Those wheels remind me of Nissan GTR ones, and those rear springs look interesting, being completely coilbound for the bottom few turns. Just a progressive spring to keep them located when the car is jacked up perhaps?

It is a nice looking car but because its in white it just looks quite boring to me, only because there is a lot of 1.2 special editions around my way. The geek in me likes seeing all the componants sparkly clean.

WOW! That is lovely, if I wasn't in the middle of building a race/track car, I would be looking at finance deals now!

If it was 10-20mm lower on the front it would sit perfect for me.

Are the AFL lights black as well?

This has made me want one even more! Looks amazing i think.
Exhaust noise is a bit of a surprise, but the twin exhaust tips have grown on me now i've seen some "in the flesh" photos.

Noticeably better to drive than your previous VXR in standard form?

I wouldn't mind one of these next year depending on what sort of money we're talking

yep afls are black sort of like a depos, yeah you can feel it as soon as you on the road, they learned from a few mistakes

I would love to trade in my VXR for a Burg in green, alas I can't realistically do it.

I love the new exhausts! Don't like dark wheels so not a fan, also don't like the facelift grill.

Hope you enjoy

Lovely. Only thing with white is to tbe untrained eye, it looks like those special edition non VXR Corsas that are about alot ATM.
