Nothing wrong with Blackpool, it is a good weekend away. Depends what you're going for really, but as a family it ticks all the boxes as far as entertainment go, as well as being only an hours drive away for me.

I went to Blackpool last September for (supposed to be) 3 nights. Fucking hated the place, left Blackpool after a couple of hours. Absolute shithole now.
