Go to La Vita at George Square, standard Italian but nice imo.

Loads of pubs about there or go up to Sauchiehall street for even more

I usually prefer the West end, where is it you are staying?

Ashton Lane is worth a look. Balbirs is good for a curry, Oran Mor is good for a drink.

Tropiero on Argyle Street is good if you like meat, it's a Brazilian steakhouse. They do awesome cocktails as well, Caipirnha or something.

You are walking distance from just about the whole of Glasgow centre from Argyle street.

Hotel down near Central Station?

Dont go there unless you want to be surrounded by folk trying to be like The Only Way Is Essex buying bottles of Belvedere vodka with half their weekly wage.

Is good and do some tasty brazilian lagers, but if his work are paying its only £19.95 per person I'd be going somewhere else if they want to rip the arse out it.

Mother India is brilliant, Balbirs also. Not so keen on Mr Singhs but lots of famous folk seem to go.

Revolution is on Renfield St as is Walkabout.

Basically you wouldn't be able to walk 2 feet in any direction without hitting a pub.

If you want bars, just get directions to Bath Street which is a few minutes walk from where you'll be staying and has plenty of decent bars.

The Louden Tavern.

IIRC they do fancy dress nights on a Sunday where every1 has to wear green and white.

I love the Dhabba in the merchant city for Indian food. It's outstanding.
