Another intersting car at work today - been looking forward to one of these comming in and today one landed and i was given the car to do the prep work

So its an R8 GT coupe - one of only 33 that will make it to the UK and number 230 of 333 worldwide.
Looking forwards to the roadtest tommorow and seeing what the extra power is like compared to the normal V10.

Sorry if the pics are a bit cack - they are off my iphone 3gs..

Apart from slightly gay rear lights that looks epic

What have they changed over the v10 then?


R8's have really grown on me

Grey plastic - yep - should be carbon like the rest of the car..

Gav - yeh its a straight up gallardo engine in these - no de tuning

I would be tempted to get it done black to match the car. Will look better with a plate on it though


Nioce just how it should be does that mean you could "re-tune" a v10 with a map?

i do quiete like these look sooo much nicer than the early ones and now with a decent motor aswell we sent a couple of cars over to belgium a few weeks back and the transported that took them had a white one of those already loaded on it for another customer was having a good nose around it look the dogs danglies

because of epic V10 noise with the roof down.....

There is a Spyder GT too
