the csl has perfect proportions whereas as the 1M, in my view, looks like it's been squashed.
i love the rear end view though, looks great.

some lovely lines on the old grey one
much nicer, rear quarters etc, actually looks designed by an artist rather than computer kids

Just subtle differences, you can tell the 1M is a more modern model.
Think it's squarer lines.
Every BMW revision does the same to the old one though.

The M3's have just been newer models, the M1 wasn't a previous version of a 1 series.

the name was chosen to avoid confusion with the original BMW M1.
