Didn't you want an X5?

Might be worth taking that and more cash.

Its a difficult one, on one hand theres a convertible over winter but the guys being realistic with the price!! The X5's in the right season but is the thirsty petrol one which apparently no one wants!!

X5 claims to do 0-60 in 6.5's lol

MX5 will be a pig to shift with winter coming.

and i cant see many wanting a big engine petrol X5. have you checked to see what sort of money it would fetch on PH for simular age/millage?

are you in that much of a rush to get rid of the RS? i think maybe your jumping the gun a little to get rid of such a nice car.

based on assumption. seems you have a healthy wallet.

why dont you just leave the RS for sale, just put it away for winter and forget about it and get a cheep 4x4 for the next couple of months. keep the RS safe out of the bad weather

My wallets always running on red same as my fuel tank!!

Dont see point in the exercise of garaging a car over winter not use it, loose another grand or so from its value then have to go through the selling process all over again.

get the MX5, run it over winter with some decent winter tyres and you will be sorted. Then sell it in summer or something.

X5's probably priced at the higher end of the market for them, but its in decent nick & lower miles than more its age!! Might be a pain to recoup on.

I think I just want it gone now ive decided & would prefer to get it wrapped up asap!!

if you dont want to garage it, its a hard choice. but the X5 is going to be more use to you over winter imo. and the mx5 will be hard to sell over winter.

to be safe, id go for the mx5 then. less money tied up in a car you dont want and being newer it should go easier than the X5.

I would hold out, I'd rather sell the RS for a bit less than go through the hassle & money of then selling a different car

If the cars your considering taking in px are easy enough to sell then just tell the current owners to sell them and come to you with cash.

Or hold out for a buyer who has the cash for one. Would of thought this would of been snapped up, are they still being made?

Why not put in your AD all PX cars will be valued at their trade prices and they owe you the rest of the money up to your asking price?

That way youre not stuck with another car that the previous owner couldnt sell hence the PXing.

Hang fire IMO. You don't want a PX that's a bugger to shift. Get the shit out of your garage, get the RS tucked away. Get a cheap 4x4.
