Hi all, haven't been on here for a while now, still have my old workhorse td corsa ,but now i have a little summer toy to have some fun in.. yes it's away in the garage now the weather is getting colder, but will give me the opportunity to get it looking right. I know it's not many peoples cup of tea but it's a fun classic car to drive around in. So here's some pics, enjoy
Oh and it's a mitsubishi starion turbo for those who haven't seen one before.

haha, looks better than rust and doesn't cause any harm so why not eh. Yer you don't see them about anymore, most have been scrapped due to the way they tend to rust :S

A mate of mine has done that to his brakes but in black so you don't even notice. Good idea really, will help protect against rust.

Clarkson raced on of these on a grass track on Top Gear once and the engine kept overheating. That was the 2.6L Turbo and the engine didn't like the mods.

ha yes its not to most peoples liking, even i didnt like it when i first saw it, i hated the colour of the car too! ha. but over the years (as its been stored at ours for about 5years) it really has grown on me.
It's a 2.0l 4g63 sohc i/c turbo motor, its 177bhp, not alot i know, but in its day it was quite reasonable. The 2.6 was 150bhp, the reason it was so underpowered was due to them fitting a cat and had a slightly smaller turbo i believe. I will be installing something similar to a bbr starchip/superchip soon, which should take it to 207bhp. Also want to purchase some coilovers and possibly a t3 at some point
