Sony is crap
The head units are pants i have one at moment getting rid of it
Dont get me wrong there look the dogs bollox but When u turn them up say half way there destort !!
Stick to JL audio or focal !!
Headunits cant fault kenwood

To be fair, that's a bit of a contridiction of terms IMO...
JL and Focal make great kit - but I wouldn't pair their stuff with a Kenwood HU if it was me. Alpine everytime for me

Fair enough mate, I started the same way but worse... I started with SPLX stuff and that is rank. But then I got atticted and most of my money goes on ICE instead of the wedding i'm meant to b saving for which is in Aug.

i got a sony MD head unit, and its been great for me, decent full range sound. dont be diss-heartened mate!
i dont think i'd buy sony speakers tho, about the only brand i'd go for for speakers and amps is VIBE. love the stuff!!

my mate had an splx amp, bought it coz it was cheap from motorworld. i told him it would be crap, but he bought it, fitted it, and was dissapointed (suprise suprise). i wouldnt go near splx mate

i have ditched it but obviously for nothing better! cost me £80 overall to do and pissed off now its wasted
and i have bills coming out of my ears and struggle to raise money for petrol

Sony is upgrade for SPLX but not much up the table. Don't b dissapointed, it ain't shit.

muggy i had a sony and when i put treble bass on, it went all crackley and the lyrics on songs were distorted, nothing to do with sub or amp or 6x9 speakers on parcel shelf there were all sound, anyway nice piece of crap info for you all lol

sony is much better than splx mate!!! think u missunderstood a bit! the reason i'd stay with vibe is coz i love them, they have excellent sound quality, and deep bass, but its heavy and expensive. and i would go for an alpine headunit over just about any other head unit anyway.
