And I bet 75% of those dispute threads have been sorted with either a refund or the bits turning up late

Typical png attitude..'Ban them' ill put hands up and say at times ive took too long to post items, sometimes out of my control and others due to purely way my shifts work or finding suitable packaging.

Ive had to wait 5mnths before now for rods + pistons from one lad and over 8mnths for cranks, heads etc, doesnt make someone a bad seller as such just bit lax, even though i knew where my parts were and could get them anytime.

There are scammers everywhere and i had 2xe long motors from col who posted the thread on png had sed they were good, when stripped they wernt the best, but would of prefered honesty rather than saying one was a spare for a swindon powered astra., but i cudnt be arsed with a dispute not worth my time for the cost of what i had.

Sometimes ppl may get lazy, but do appreciate there are some out + out scamming twats

they talk as if we both aint on the internet

any cunt can sign up to 2 forums

i dont understand why people suddenly think its a completely different place because its hosted on a different box

its luck of the draw really

arguably a corsa site aimed at teenagers will be dodge compared to a skoda site where tons of 50 year olds are on it tho into their yeti's and shit

ur still dealing with a random guy over the 'net tho, effortless to scam people really

be careful and cover urself, dont give them the chance to scam and who cares really

I like the way they try to blame everything but themselves if they have been scammed, cover yourself, ask for all details you need if you are unlucky enough to have a dispute, and don't pay via gift unless you know the person really well, you have to pay the charges when Paying via gift so why not just add them on top and pay for goods? That way you have a way to get the money back

They forget the scammers on there, Let_nova (Took somebodies nova to do a xe conversion on it, never finished it, bodged it and then was an arse to get the car back, plus he stopped sending parts to other people)

Theres been loads on there, Sure theres been loads on here, But its the internet.

i would imagine the scamming figures go up proportionately with traffic and users, proportionately CS may have less scammers per 1000 members then png

makes me laugh when people do nothing for themselves and expect ian to do the chasing

i tend not to sell anything unless its collected because i work long hours at night meaning i either have to stay up or get up early to catch the post office

People need to take responsibility for their actions and use COMMON SENSE when buying stuff from other people on forums, instead of blaming site admin for the problems they experience.

Bloody idiots.

i must say that i've been using pumapeople and project puma to sell my puma bits and not had 1 problem so far.

yet there seems to be so many problems on here with sellers/buyers.

i personally wouldn't buy something from someone on here unless it was cash on collection or i knew them.

Those two sites combined do less than 10% of the traffic of CS.

The demographic is different, but they're also smaller.

That admin on Puma People is a lazy cunt as well. Never gets involved.
