Got the keys to this yesterday lots of work to do as you can see, its had the windows and roof done but otherwise its all original and needs alot of work, has alot of original features though that I absolutly love! its a 3 bed in a quite sort after semi rural postcode. only got 10 other neighbours, bought it from an old man who has gone to a old persons home, plan is to get it looking fantasic and maybe sell it, if its still not worth selling then we shall keep hold of it. only downside is the bathroom is tiny, no room for a bog, bath and basin so I will have to try to pinch some of the bedroom or go for a posh shower
Front
Rear
Living room
Kitchen
Bathroom door should be here
Has a disabled bathroom that you get in from the bedroom
Bedroom1 still has cast iron fireplace
As does bed 2
Back Garden
Veiw from the rear garden
But THIS is the main thing that sold it for me to be honest
Original cast iron fire/stove and oven in the kitchen with a slate surround

got it for 108k not bad really, next door sold in 2007 for 178k when prices where high.
Gardens are the biggest job I think then the bathroom. the boiler is fucked and I want it out of the kitchen so thats on the list, floor needs leveling in the livingroom, and it needs a full kitchen. I was down there all yesterday and got most of the shit shifted. Il update when ever something half interesting happens

Nahh, Id hate for the kitchen and living room to be all one. its not a big house by any means, the postcode and the carm of it is its strongest points

been doing a bit of stripping
Living room has the carpet up and the paper off and is now full of rubble bags awaiting a trip to the skips
Kitchen has had the plastic and wood cladding removed from the walls, all the draws emptied and the polystyrene tiles removed from the ceiling, still gets used as a kitchen though so not a great deal done in here yet
This is what Im up against, the previous old man has been a DIY disaster freak, seems the worktop he put in was too long for the original door to open, so he put a smaller door on and fucked all the original frame up, can see the gap all the way round
thats really it for the downstairs, been more concentrating on the upstairs
Got the smallest bedroom back to mostly bare brick, took the radiator off and all the wall under the window started to come out, so Im going to sort that in a min
the next bedroom is pretty much the same
these need to be bubble wrapped up
last quick shot of the landing, can see the smallest bedroom on the right has a new door frame
Bed 3 is due to be plastered tomorrow, I just have to fix the loose bricks back in and put 2 sockets in this afternoon. then next to be plastered will be bedroom 2. havent really done bedroom 1 yet as its in quite good shape and I need to do a bit of jiggery pokery with the walls in there to make the bathroom bigger
gardens are the same cause the weather has been shit
