well i sold the 206 after 6 weeks of ownership, after deciding i didnt like it

Came out of that with a bit more money

was just too old for me, thought i could get away with a cheap diesel because i didnt really want a diesel car. felt like i was wasting money buying one

anyway...

looked at getting another 172, but thats following my heart. so going to try and stay sensible.

another diesel

need idea's on what to get.

category:

£2000
02 or newer
Turbo diesel, most non turbos are like slugs with asthma.
cheap tax band (£30)

im thinking a c2 Hdi, just to give you an idea on what sort.

any suggestions?

Dont be silly, get another 172, makes sence, i regret selling my 182 almost a year ago, the 106 never really replaced it, i plan on getting another after xmas.

And they are sensible enough, insurance can be a bit steep, but driven right they will see 40mpg.

Being sensible rather than following my heart cost me about 4k in the space of two months.

Follow your heart, then you won't be reposting this same topic in 6 weeks time

local car garage selling a car:

Found a corsa 1.3 cdti. 2004 (54) black,
98,000. 2 owners. timing belt changed, new disks and pads. 12 months tax.
looks really clean, and runs smooth.

was up for £2,800, they'll take £2,200 cash with no p/x

whats the usual price of these?

Not really. Old as shit, non tubo, actually never driven anything so gutless.
Made money off it, just didn't like the car.
That's why I want something newer and turbo.

Hmm I would have said £2800 is way off and that £2200 is more like but if you look around you can find them from about £1800+ same year, similar miles etc.

I did look at them recently and weirdly they are cheaper now by quite a lot, I would still take the 1.5 dci 65 or 80 over the corsa, based on the fiat reliability but that's just me.

Just some examples

2004 Clio 1.5 dci 80

2003 Clio Dci 1.5 80
