I'm in the same position mate, desperately need new wheels.

Could always try the scrap yard though I guess.

here man, last time i was looking for wheels i wanted standard 15" steels and i ended up getting the cool tigra 5 spokes in mint condition with mint 195/45 toyo proxies for cheaper than i could find x4 steels without tyres

yet i remember the going rate for steels was £5 per wheel regardless of tyre

Yeah, Tigra wheels always seem to be reasonably cheap even though they're pretty nice.

i just think the price of them are wrong, seen one comp in perfect condition end for 99p with 0 bids (ford fitment) yet you get people on forums charging £300 for cesaros... few days later when your at a scrap yard you see come cesaros waiting to get melted down for scrap

edit, how do people do their searches - e.g ebay, browse categories, wheels tyres..., type vauxhall or 4x100 or just 15".......?

not too clued up on gumtree tbh

The wheels that are most popular will be more expensive because theres always someone looking for a set. Youve just got to pay the going rate if you want a good set of wheels that will make your car look much better.

The tigra wheels are cheap because they are ugly.

I think the tigra ones in black look nice.

Maybe you can "referb" some wheels ? Can normally get a set of vauxhall 15s that need tires and painting for £30.

£120 for tires + fitting

£20 for paint

+ Time and effort.

Too pull off ANY gloss black coloured wheels the tyre wall has to be black and shiney (back to black type products) otherwise they look shit and tacky.
