You get this nonsense about Clios being the one to beat in tests, maybe they should re run these tests in the wet.

You are doing it wrong. Can't be that bad surely, and such a huge difference between wet and dry?
Could it be the tyres?

I've driven a lot of hot hatches and it's nothing to do with my driving.
In the dry it's immense so no issue at all. Tyres are average Falkens but got exact same on Mini and that's fine

No its not a bent chassis, they are chronically slidy in the wet
106 was also very bad, back end would come out very easily

My megane was perfectly fine - got abit of a sideways action going once when on a huge roundabout i decided to deliberatly see how hard you could chuck it in and i was shocked how fast/hard it went before it got twitchy.
