Just driving to the girlfriends house the other night and i was driving past a pub and a bunch of lads were walking towards me and one of them stepped out into the middle of my lane and i slowed down and gave him a wide birth and as i want past be hit the spoiler on the back of the car.

checked for damage and didnt see much as it was dark but today i had a good look and found hed cracked the spoiler and made a mess of the clam





I set about trying to sort it out today.

First thing was to remake my supports for the spoiler so i could push the damaged bit back inline with the rest of the clam and then i could vinyl over it.







moved my relays whilst i was at it



centre of the car there was a hole for the original turbo spoiler, i had some red electrician tape but popped some vinyl over instead



vinyled over the cracked area, i drilled holes in the end of the cracks to stop them from splitting more, its not too obvious but id rather it not be there

cars windscreen was still defrosting lol he was on passenger side of windscreen so didnt see much at all.

i remember some guy punched my corsa window (rear passenger side) after i just got it. i was stopped in traffic and some random guy was walking across pissed as arseholes and hit it. didn't break, bet he hurt his hand though.

i wouldnt of thought that would be enough to write the car off tbh, there is no way i would get it repaired on insurance anyway, id just do it myself.

Never in a million years would i ov thought of that, probably cause more hastle than it would be worth tbh. I cant be arsed with hassle.
