Had this about a week, got it to replace the MR2 which wasn't practical enough and started to annoy me the lack of space. Was a fun car but only really good for a summer toy. Was going to go for another Mk4 Astra SRi/Coupe then this popped up local for a bargain price so went for a look, done some haggling, and bought it.
Brakes felt pretty dodgy so whipped the wheels off to bleed them and found the problem. The threaded end of the CV joint had snapped off some how so the whole lot was moving around quite dangerously and the only thing holding the wheel on was the caliper. New CV joint fitted and all was well. Also had to raise the front as it was too low and catching and the ride was gash.
Wheels are badly in need of a refurb so thats 1st on the list. And another cpl of small niggles to sort but no rush.
Pics....
As you can maybe see, the front left wheel centre is silver and the rest a kinda grey colour so they need done. Not sure if i fancy doing the centre's red, or keep them anthracite.

No, these are just 1.6 16v 125bhp. Its not all that quick tbh compared to Saxo's/106 GTi's etc but its a much nicer car to drive and to be in.

Yeah thats what im swaying towards Eck. When i think about it, coloured centres are abit 2010. Just have an image in my head of 1 with red centres and it looked good but can't find pics of it.
John, everythings for sale if the price is right.lol. 1.8t conversion would be good but imo id rather just have a car that came with it from factory.
