£6 a month for unlimited films and tv series? Seems too good to be true! I've got an Internet enabled Bravia but it doesn't have Netflix in the list of video links, I guess there's a way to download it? I've got YouTube I player etc. also got an iPad so I can install it on there too which is cool. Just seems a bit too cheap, like there's going to be some kind of catch I come across...?

No catch aside from the selection of films. It's not too bad for £6 a month though.

How does the lovefilm one work? You pay a fiver a month and watch what you want when you want?

Not all of lovefilm is online. They send you DVD/blurays in the post. Quite quick delivery though and can keep the discs quite a while

The online bit appeals to me more tbh, would be good if I was bored to browse a library of films and then watch whatever.

Last time I was at my mates who has it, wasn't a bad selection of online films, although most were quite old.

It says £4.99 for the stream package but Unknown has 'Watch now: Included with packages from £5.99.' next to it. So you HAVE to have a better package than the £4.99 one in order to watch that particular film?

i noticed that, it may be that its not been updated. i got a nemail through today with the new offer of 30 day free trial but the netflix ads have just started on tv (hence me looking into it) so lovefilm may have just dropped their prices to compete

I just did a Lovefilm trial and got £20 Amazon voucher. Quick too, they sent it by e-mail the day after my first disk came.

If content is an issue for you just change the DNS to an american one on the xbox and it will open up their catalogue

How do you do that? Can you do it on smart tvs too? I'm Uni and there's restrictions like I've got to turn dhcp off on my router

From another forum: I changed the DNS servers on my xbox to 208.122.23.22 and 208.122.23.22 (the unblock-us ones). I then deleted the netflix app and all the components, reinstalled it, and now have the us selection. Tonnes per film and tv series. Was happy when it offered me Senna, Kickass and Tangled.

I like to watch good quality films on my 40" rather than blurry stuff with bad sound on my laptop.

Starting to really like this, started watching something on my iPad earlier, went on my laptop and it was there as recently vieewed, clicked on it and it picked up right where I paused it on the iPad. Tried pausing it on there and fired up the Xbox and it does the same.
Little things like that please me
