cleaned the car yesterday as per, so though as the suns out despite being freezing id go and take some piks. Went to the ponderossa cafe as wanted a brekky and the foods nice up there and took a few snap

even though im going back out now to wash it again as its covered in salt half way up the doors and if i leave it like that for more than a day the arches will probably drop off oh and clean my new trainersas i managed to stand in sheep shit aswell lol

oh and before the usual people say ... yes i need to work out how to change the date on the camera and yes my photos arent arty farty and special lenses and settings i point and press the big button

no longer going to be able to keep it garaged or even off the main road due to moving house so unfortunately iv had to pop a few adverts up to see if anyone offers me anything half decent for it after a vectra c or something i dont have to worry about as much, probably end up keeping it to be honest lol

Seen the for sale ad on Mig, strong money at 3k but some1 will pay that for it. Probably need to hold out.

thats it mate, in no rush to let it go if i dont get offered a car i want ill keep it, only going to go up in value and like you say 3k is up towards the top end for what they go for but its got bits on it that warrent that kind of price i.e. connoly interiour speedlines hi spec 4 pots f28 gear box theres £1500 worth of bits there easily and people are asking £2500 for a standard 1 lol,

the only interest iv had on mig is people telling me its lovely and they wish they could buy it and if i can try and hold on to it to keep it, no one is actually seriously wanting to buy it suits me as i dont really want rid its a needs must thing lol

That is a lovely car.

Horse shoe pass is a nice drive as well. Been up there a couple of times when I've been in that neck of the woods.

shit the bed looks nasty didnt even know it happened but now you have shown me that i remeber seeing a large chunk of railings missing and marks showing a car had been off the road but thats common up there its a bad bad road

2.0 8v in the earlier ones and 2.0 16v (redtop) in the later ones iirc the very very early ones are a 1.8 8v

With standard width tyres? 185s on the Astra was a known fact they weren't wide enough.

my spare wheel is a teardrop with original tyre on its bloody awful the tread patterns so shit aswell lol
