Hello, as title really, I'm looking for a new torch in work. I've been looking at high intensity LED beasts but theyball seem much of a muchness - I'm looking for recommendations really so I know what I'm getting. It's just for having in my pocket, so nothing too big. I'm looking for one that ideally has the sort of LEDs used in phone flashes - not surw on the name but bright, bright fuckers.
A guy here has a great little snap on one - you can't look at it it's so bright, but I can't find it on any websites. Who's got the sort of thing I'm on about and what can you suggest please?

Wolf do a good led one. Although they are usually Ex rated for use in an explosive atmosphere and pretty pricey, they might have some that aren't rated though and slightly cheaper.
M40 £30 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WOLF-SAFETY-LAMP-M-40-TORCH-MINI-3-LED-ZONE-0-/250915572668?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3a6bbbcbbc#ht_500wt_1413
They have an M60 I seen on ebay aswell but thats over £50 for it

I've got a trusty Maglite on a lanyard, use it when I'm flying aeroplanes at night and need to read my map
Depending on what you're using it for, the temperature of the light coming out of an LED torch may be too high and the yellowness of a halogen bulb can be helpful.

Get a couple of 18650 batteries and a charger, they last for ages.
Costco normally have a big and a small pack in for 20 odd quid, brilliant value, can't beat they deal extreme ones though.

You could probably kill someone with a big Maglite. Only issue being, they have lots of details and knurling, meaning it would be very difficult to clean all the 'forensic evidence' from it.

I have a serious weapon of a torch and the lack of detail on it was one of the contributing factors in my decision to buy it.

I have two P7's on my bike and they piss off a few motorists so they are bright. Plus they are cheap on eBay

I'm quite shocked and upset that a fleshlight hasn't been mentioned yet.
