Noticed a mis fire on the s2000...
Checked the plugs:

... I've never seen that happen to a plug... properly break off.
What's mostly worrying is after changing this it still mis fires

Was it snapped when you took the plug out? Guesses are it's still in the Combustion chamber ut oh!.
Shine a torch down there see if you can see it if you can try center it and crank it over should spit it out be carfull tho.
And Compression test it as said above

Yeah, it was snapped when I took the plug out. So why wouldn't it spit it out when I run the engine? You saying, take the plug over and crank it over?

ok Adam, it's something worth trying - but I honestly don't get why that would cause a mis fire and why the bit wouldn't be blown out of the exhaust when I start the car?

wait - you are asking why its misfiring with 50% of the tip missing? Or have you popped a new plug in and turned it over?
I really dont recomment starting the car if you know there is a plug tip in a bore.

Not only started it but revved it up to clear it out.
I basically started the car yesterday morning to go to work, noticed a mis fire - thought it was the choke... revved it up to clear it out a bit - no luck -
So if there is something in there, it's well and truly smashed the shit out of itself
Put a brand new set of plugs in it tonight and it still misfires.

it could get caught in the valve... it could indent into the piston
plug can burn out though heat, heat can be caused though lean combusion - high tempertures etc
need to do a compression test

Astra VXR Standard rating plug is 6, same plugs as paul but 6 instead of 7
Use them upto stage 3, no issues, as do all the other tuners
and on 1.8 turbo's again no issues
